How the Insurance Process Works
1. Tell Us What’s Important to You
We start by understanding which types of cover matter most to you whether it’s:
• Life Insurance • Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) • Income Protection • Trauma / Crisis Cover • Business Expense Cover
You decide what you’d like to focus on, we’re here to support your choices.
2. Choose the Level of Cover
You’re in control of how much cover you want. We’ll talk through:
• What each type of cover protects • Typical cover amounts • How each option could apply to your personal or business circumstances
3. Select Your Income Protection Settings (if applicable)
If you’re considering Income Protection, there are a couple of important details to decide:
• Waiting Period – how long before benefits begin (e.g., 30, 60 or 90 days) • Benefit Period – how long payments could continue (e.g., 2–5 years or up to retirement age)
We’ll explain how these options work and what they could mean for your cover and premiums.
4. Choose How You Pay
Depending on the policy and structure, premiums can be: • Funded through your superannuation • Paid personally or through your business
We’ll help you understand your payment options and how they may affect your cash flow or cover.
5. Receive Your Quotes
Once we’ve gathered your preferences, we’ll provide a selection of quotes based on your needs, typically two or more options for comparison.
You decide which option suits you best. When you’re ready, we’ll handle the submission to the insurer and walk you through the next steps.

If you do need to make a claim, we’re here to support you through the process. While the insurer manages the claim directly, we can assist with:
